Make Your Life Easier With An Autoresponder

Are you sick and tired of trying to keep up with all of the emails that are required to run your online business? Then maybe it is time you start using autoresponders in your business.

An autoresponder is a program which will automatically respond to emails without you having to do a single thing.

Autoresponders can be used for a lot of things besides just answering emails:

1. You can use it to send information about your products and services.

2. You can offer visitors to your site some kind of bonus.

3. You can use it to send an f.a.q. file when someone has a question.

4. It will help you to advertise your business and build a relationship with your customers.

The best autoresponders will allow you to send an unlimited number of follow-up messages at a predetermined amount of time to your list. For instance, you can have follow-up messages sent out every day, every three days, every 14 days, or whenever you want for as long as you want.

Many hosting companies offer free autoresponders to their customers so if you already have a website you can get an autoresponder for free.

You can personalize your messages by attaching a signature. Your signature can include your name, company name, your contact numbers, and a short message.

You should try to keep the length of your signature to no more than six lines of text. Limit each line of your signature to 70 characters maximum, though I recommend keeping it to no more than 60 characters. This will help to ensure your email program doesn't cut off your text.

Another excellent use for an autoresponder is to create a course that you can then give to your website visitors for free. You should choose a topic you already know about and that your visitors are already interested in.

Next, take your topic and break it up into 10-15 different sub-topics. Now offer it to your visitors as a free course with each lesson covering a different sub-topic.

Make your first topic be a welcome message to your visitor and let them know what you will be covering in your course. Try to make this enticing, let them know that the information you are giving away is quality information that they will find extremely valuable.

Each lesson should include the lesson number, the title of the topic, and information about your company, its products, and services. At the end of the lesson, tell them what the next lesson will be covering to entice them to continue with your course.

Only include information that is valuable and essential to the topic. In other words, no fluff.

As you can see, there are many uses for an autoresponder in your marketing life. They are a powerful and effective marketing tool which will allow you to contact thousands of potential customers. Considering how many times you have to contact a potential customer before they will buy from you, this is obviously a very valuable asset that everyone should take advantage of.
